Community Standards

Version: 2026-08-13 · Effective: August 13, 2026 · Last updated: August 13, 2026

Purpose and scope

Menta is a place for personal accountability through promises, proof, peer review, streaks, groups, events, and rewards. These standards apply to every profile, challenge, group, event, proof submission, check-in, review, invite, and other interaction in Menta.

Use Menta in a way that is safe, honest, lawful, and respectful of other people. The Terms of Service also apply.

Safe for work only

Menta is a safe-for-work service. Do not post nudity, pornography, sexual acts, sexual services, sexually suggestive content, or content that sexualises another person.

Sexual exploitation, grooming, or sexual content involving a child is prohibited. Menta may remove the content, disable access, preserve relevant evidence, and make reports where the law requires it.

Prohibited content and conduct

Do not threaten, harass, bully, stalk, shame, impersonate, or target another person. Hate speech, discriminatory abuse, and calls for violence are prohibited.

Do not post graphic violence, promote self-harm or eating disorders, or create challenges that encourage dangerous behaviour. If someone faces immediate danger, contact local emergency services. Menta is not an emergency service.

Do not use Menta for illegal activity, regulated goods or services, scams, spam, malware, unauthorised scraping, or attempts to break or misuse the service.

Respect privacy and consent. Do not share another person's private information or identifiable image without the rights or permission needed to do so.

Do not fabricate proof, coordinate false reviews, manipulate streaks or referrals, or exploit Momenta, purchases, rewards, or other product systems.

Reporting and blocking

Use the Report action in Menta when it is available, or contact Support, to identify content or conduct that may break these standards. Give enough detail for the report to be assessed. A report is a request for review, not confirmation that a violation occurred.

Where a Block action is available, it may limit specific interactions and records a safety action. Menta does not currently promise that blocking hides every item from that account or prevents every encounter across the whole product. Report the content or account if you need staff to assess it.

How reports are reviewed

Authorised Menta staff may access the report, the reported content, and the account or activity information reasonably needed to investigate a safety issue, enforce these standards, respond to an appeal, or meet a legal obligation. This is limited to people who need the information for that work; it does not mean staff routinely read private content.

Menta may ask for more information and may consider context, severity, credible risk, prior violations, and available evidence. Reports are not decided only by how many people submit them. Menta may not be able to share private details about action taken against another account.

Enforcement

Menta may remove or limit content, warn an account, restrict a feature, reverse manipulated rewards, remove a challenge, group, or event, suspend access, or close an account. Menta may act immediately where content creates a serious safety, legal, fraud, or service risk.

The response depends on the available evidence and the nature and history of the conduct. Menta may also preserve records or refer a matter to a relevant service or authority where the law requires it.

Appeals and support

To question a safety decision or ask for help, email hello@menta.quest. Include the email on your account and any report or support reference you received. An appeal does not pause a restriction while Menta reviews the information available.

Retention and deletion boundaries

Removing content or deleting an account does not always remove every related record immediately. Menta may retain a limited safety report, enforcement record, transaction record, or legal record where needed to investigate harm, prevent repeat abuse or fraud, resolve a dispute, or meet a legal obligation.

Content already shared with another person may also remain in their records or screenshots. Menta limits retained data and access to what is needed for those purposes. Read the Privacy Policy for the wider account-deletion and data-handling rules.

Changes and related terms

Menta may update these standards as the service and its safety needs change. The date above will change when the standards change. Material changes may also be communicated in Menta or by email.
